Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 22, 2026
Esports Pulse is a brand operated by REDBLUE HORIZON PTE. LTD., a company incorporated under the laws of Singapore ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy (this "Privacy Policy") explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit or interact with our website (esportspulse.com), newsletters, and other products and services that reference this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").
Information We Collect
We, or service providers that assist us in providing, maintaining, and operating the Services, may collect the following types of personal information from you:
- Information that you provide: We may collect information that you choose to provide to us, such as when you subscribe to our newsletter(s), submit a PR inquiry, or contact us. This may include your name, e-mail address, company name, job title, and country. If we offer paid Services in the future, you may be required to provide payment information (processed securely by our third-party payment processors).
- Editorial and business contact information: When you participate in interviews, submit articles or press releases, or contact us for business cooperation, we may collect your name, job title, company affiliation, contact details, and interview or submission content. This information is used solely for editorial production, content publication, and corresponding business communication.
- Automated information: Using widely used Internet technologies, such as cookies and web beacons ("Cookies"), we automatically collect information about your device and online activity when you access the Services. This may include your IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, previously visited websites, and interaction with our content.
- Location information: We may collect general location information (such as your city or country) derived from your IP address to help us provide localized content and analytics.
- Information from other sources: We may combine the information we collect with information obtained from other sources, such as our business partners, analytics providers, or social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn or X) if you choose to interact with us on those platforms.
We may aggregate or anonymize personal information so that it can no longer reasonably be used, directly or indirectly, to identify you, for purposes of industry research, analytics, and content optimization. Where information has been anonymized to this standard, it is no longer considered personal information and is not subject to this Privacy Policy. Where we de-identify or pseudonymize information but retain the ability to re-link it to an individual, that information remains personal information and continues to be protected under this Privacy Policy.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information that we collect about you for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Services;
- To produce editorial content, manage contributor and interviewee relationships, and process press and business submissions;
- To send you newsletters, industry reports, and promotional materials (only if you have opted in, in compliance with applicable anti-spam laws);
- To respond to your inquiries, PR submissions, and customer support requests;
- To perform statistical, demographic, and marketing analyses of our users;
- To detect, investigate, and prevent activities that may violate our policies or be illegal;
- To comply with legal requirements and our internal business practices.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. This is separate from the limited license you grant us over content you voluntarily choose to submit or post through the Services (such as comments, story tips, or reader contributions), as described in our Terms of Service; that license governs your use of the Services to publish content and does not involve the sale of your personal information.
We may share the information we collect in the following ways:
- Service Providers: We partner with third parties to assist with aspects of the Services, such as email delivery (e.g., newsletter hosting), website analytics, and cloud hosting. We only work with vetted service providers and require them to sign data processing agreements (DPAs) that comply with applicable data protection laws. All processing by service providers is carried out strictly under our instructions and subject to confidentiality and security obligations.
- Business Transfers: We may disclose or transfer your information in connection with any merger, financing, acquisition, or dissolution involving the sale or transfer of all or a portion of our business or assets.
- Legal & Compliance: We may disclose your personal information if we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, enforce our Terms of Service, or respond to lawful requests from public authorities and government agencies.
- Cookies and Relevant Advertising We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate our Services, analyze website traffic, optimize your reading experience, and deliver relevant industry content. Cookies are categorized into strictly necessary, analytical, functional, and marketing types. Strictly necessary cookies are essential for the Services to function and do not require your consent.
Where required by applicable law (including in the EEA and UK), analytical, functional, and marketing cookies will only be set after you have given your consent through our cookie consent banner, and you may withdraw that consent at any time through the cookie preference settings available on our website. For a full breakdown of the cookies we use and detailed guidance on managing your preferences, please refer to our standalone Cookie Policy, which is incorporated into this Privacy Policy by reference.
We may also use web analytics services, such as Google Analytics, to help us understand how visitors use our Services. In addition to the consent mechanism described above, you can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, and you can learn more about opting out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Third-Party Links and Embedded Content
Esports Pulse contains links to other industry sites, tournament organizers, and social networks. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of every website that collects personal data.
Our Services may also include embedded content (such as social media share buttons, video players, or third-party data visualizations) from external platforms. These embedded components may collect your IP address, device information, and interaction data independently of us. Your interaction with such content is governed by the privacy policy of the respective third-party platform.
Security and Retention
We maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the personal information you provide against unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and you use the Services at your own risk.
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Standard retention periods include:
- Newsletter subscription data: retained for the duration of your active subscription, plus 12 months after opt-out for compliance verification;
- Editorial and business contact data: retained for 3 years after the conclusion of the relevant engagement or correspondence;
- Website access logs and anonymous analytics data: retained for 12 months.

Where required by applicable law, such transfers are made subject to appropriate safeguards. If you are located in the EEA or UK, please see Section 11 below for information about the specific safeguards that apply to transfers of your personal data.

Our Services are focused on B2B industry professionals and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a visitor under 18, we will delete the information from our records immediately.

You have the right to request access to, and correction of, the personal data we hold about you. You may also withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Please note that withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the withdrawal, and may result in your inability to access certain features of the Services.
In the event of a personal data breach that poses a significant risk to your rights and interests, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) within the timeframes required by law.
We will respond to all valid data rights requests within 30 calendar days of receipt. To exercise these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at legal@esportspulse.com.

Lawful Bases for Processing - We process your personal data based on one or more of the following lawful bases:
- Performance of a contract: where necessary to deliver the Services you have requested;

- Compliance with a legal obligation: where required by applicable law;
- Your explicit consent: where you have voluntarily provided consent for a specific processing purpose.
International Data Transfers - The Republic of Singapore has not been granted an adequacy decision by the European Commission. Where we transfer your personal data from the EEA or UK to Singapore, or to any other country that has not been granted an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under applicable law, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (or, for transfers from the UK, the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum). You may request further information about, or a copy of, the relevant safeguard by contacting our Data Protection Officer at the email address below.
Your Data Subject Rights - Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

- Restrict or object to our processing of your personal data;
- Request data portability, where applicable;
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
We will respond to all valid requests within 30 calendar days. Where a request is particularly complex, we may extend this period by up to a further two months; if we do so, we will explain the reason for the delay within the initial 30-day period. We may refuse requests that are excessive, repetitive, or not required by applicable law, and will provide a clear explanation for any refusal. To exercise your rights, please contact us at legal@esportspulse.com.
